Businesses: 7 car-related companies, 6 transport equipment companies, 4 infrastructural companies (map, etc.), and 9 universities and research organizations.
Demos with panels, VTRs, small EVs, etc.
•Unlike the San Diego event in August 1997, there were no exhibits by ITS-related venture businesses (technological research, etc.)
•Major Exhibits:
Automotive: ACC, ISA-related technologies, automated parking, ITS-technology commuters, etc., Chauffeur system, navigation systems
Transport equipment: Automated moving platform for freight containers, automatic cruiser for moving military drill targets, automatic transport of people within parking area, and unmanned underground transport
Testing organizations: TNO, RDW (certification and testing organization)
