Two possible processes lead to the realization of fully automated driving.
In process A, the emphasis is on applying the system to as many roads as possible rather than raising the control level of vehicle operations. This may be called an "evolutionary process" as it is expected to keep developing in function step by step.
In process B, a fully advanced system is introduced on a given segment of the road as a model case for subsequent system deployment. This may be called an "revolutionary process" as it requires a technological leap forward.
